Taiwan Scholarship Program 2010

The Taiwan Scholarship Program was established jointly by three government agencies of the Republic of China (Taiwan) — the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan (NSC) — to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan. While providing study opportunities for a wide range of disciplines, at Taiwan’s universities and colleges, this program also aims to:




1.Promote knowledge, understanding and friendship between people in Taiwan and in countries around the world.

USA: Fulbright Scholarships 2011-2012 for Malian Citizens, The U.S. Embassy in Bamako

The U.S. Embassy in Bamako is currently seeking to recruit qualified applicants to pursue and graduate studies or conduct research and professional development programs in the United States. The following Fulbright scholarships are available for Malian citizens:




2011-2012 Fulbright Junior Staff Development Program (FJSD): funds two years of higher level education in the United States, leading to a Master’s or PhD degree. FJSD candidates should have at least the equivalent of four years of university study or the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor’s Degree and must have an English proficiency with a TOEFL score of 550 and over. For preliminary application purposes, candidates may submit ALIGU scores in lieu of TOEFL.* Candidates will also be required to attain required scores on the GRE or GMAT. JSD Application
